With a high scan rate of up to 57 ppm/114 ipm (300 dpi), onboard JPEG compression, and duty cycle of up to 8,000 documents per day, the Fujitsu fi-5650C scanner combines performance and dependability to create an outstanding production scanner. It also scans at 71 ppm/142 ipm in landscape orientation and features an optical resolution of 600 dpi for amazing image detail.
High Performance- With our latest enhanced technology, FI-5650C can now scan color/ monochrome/ grayscale images at a high resolution of 300dpi at 55 pages per minute.
- A high speed USB 2.0 & Ultra SCSI interface supports fast data transmission, even of high resolution image data.
- The FI-5650C has taken long page scanning to new dimensions, with capacity to scan up to 86 cm in length.
- Documents can be placed on the paper chute while scanning is in progress, because single sheets are picked from the bottom up.
Superior Paper Handling - With its unique system of roller modules (traditionally used only in high-end production scanners); the FI-5650C is capable of scanning diverse paper qualities without interruption.

Excellent Image Quality
- The technical attributes of the FI-5650C high-grade CCD cameras are complemented by auto image enhancement features & image processing functions (de-skew & auto-crop)
- As a result, often the electronic image of very poor quality paper documents reveals its contents much clearer & more precise than the original documents.
- With the help of TWAIN & ISIS drivers, papers that are slightly skewed can now be automatically straightened. And with the Auto-Crop function, small or mixed documents can now be cut to actual dimensions images, optimizing file size.
- To improve OCR and text recognition, unwanted boxes and lines on the forms can be eliminated through red, green or blue dropout colors.
Versatility - The automatic document feeder (ADF), with a capacity of 200 pages allows you to scan a wide range of documents from A8 to A3.
- Extremely compact design takes up very little office space
- For greater convenience, dual control panels allow operation from both sides of the scanner and this permit the scanner to be placed against a wall or in a corner without affecting operability.
Options - Imprinter unit that simplifies document management by permitting document names or codes to be printed on scanned documents.
- ScanRight Image Processing Software: supports dynamic threshold, image emphasis, OCR smoothing and noise removal.
- When high volumes of uniform documents are to be scanned for archival purposes, ScanRight IPC allows user to select pre-determined profiles to obtain optimized image results for batch scanning.

- Adobe Acrobat Standard 7.0 offers an easy way to create and share secure and reliable Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format) documents.
- ScandAll 21 allows user to scan to preview/ PDF/ email/ designated files in one seamless operation.
- Preview mode allows immediate display of scanned results. Setting can then be changed or saved to apply to a whole batch of documents.
- Virtual ReScan (VRS) enables high accuracy in data captured from scanned documents, significantly reducing the need to manually correct the results of intelligent character recognition (ICR) and optical character recognition (OCR).
